DESCRIPTION OF GUEST HOUSE
The key feature of Beau Vallon is the rich verdant vegetation and the tranquillity of the surrounding mountains.
Beau Vallon is in a lodge style Chambres d'Hotes entirely separate from the owner's residence comprising 5 double rooms and three studios. Each room has it's own ensuite bathroom, bar frigidaire and private patio. The studios are fully equipped with all linen, towels and kitchen equipment. There is a communal kitchen for those who like to self-cater.
The village has an excellent butcher, baker, small grocery store wine cave (enjoy the tasting!, potter and natural juice producers. The valley is widely known for its superb apples from which is made the organic apples juice. On the way up into the mountains at Py and Mantet there are some excellent cheese producers- also honey.
Barbecues, tables, chairs, sunshades, hammock and swing chair are available on the lawns as is badminton, boules, the therapeutic jacuzzi and plunge pool. The garden is safe for children, and dogs are welcome - as indeed are cats!
Beau Vallon is situated on the massif de Canigou at 675m, on the edge of the village of Sahorre en route for the nature reserves at Py and Mantet.
BV is in an ideal postion for walkers - both guided and alone. Enjoy the midnight walk up the Canigou to watch the sunrise over the Med. In winter take the night walk snow-shoeing or wild skiing at Mantet.
There are many sites to see and enjoy - the Little Yellow Train, the walled medievel town of Villefranche, St Michel de Cuxa, St Martin de Canigou, the Pablos Casals Music Festival, horse riding, cycling, mountain biking or just soaking in the hot Roman spa at St Thomas les Bains -- take a day out and go buy duty free in Andorra - whiskey at £6 a litre!

Studios: 2007 49 euro for two without breakfast.
Groups and long stay negotiable.

Take junction 42 on the N116 motorway at Perpignan and follow signs for ANDORRA. 39km to Prades - bypass this staying on the N116, - 6km to Villefranche de Conflent. Continue on the N116 for half a km and turn left at the D6 for SAHORRE/Fuilla/Mantet. 7km along the D6 you reach the village of SAHORRE. Turn left up the D6 on the Route de Py for half a km and Beau Vallon is on the left.
