DESCRIPTION OF GUEST HOUSE
This stately home was built in 1642 from one of Diane de Poitiers’s hunting places . Rebuild in the early19th ,it was surrounded with a moat until 1930 , when it was transformed. Then, in 2000 , it was entirely renovated .
Very rare redwoods (séquoias) overlook the park which is all covered with wild cyclamens in autumn .
Right amid “chateaux”, vineyards, museums and cave divellings, a new place is to be discovered every day .
Of course, you’ll have an opportunity to do sport in the park around, to read in a deck chair or by the fire, to play cards or… not to do anything at all !
If it’s the first time you’ve been in a guest room (B&B accomodation), you’ll check that it isn’t exactly as it is in a hotel : no bar or private service .
On the other hand, it’s as if friends of yours invited you to share their happiness in their family home : they like it, are much involved in it , take care of it….
…and just hope other people will do the same…
